About TrueIdiom
TrueIdiom is a translation platform built around a simple admission: machine translation is good enough to do most of the work, and not good enough to be trusted without checking. So we check — automatically, on every job — and bring a person in when the checking says it matters.
What TrueIdiom does
Every job runs the same loop. A model produces the draft. An automated quality gate then scores that draft the way a reviewer would: issues by severity and category, terminology compliance checked term by term, and a score you can see. Work that clears the gate publishes on its own. Work that doesn’t — a low score, a critical issue, a terminology violation, or content you flagged as sensitive — is parked for a human reviewer, who sees the source, the draft, the repaired candidate, and the evidence behind the decision, then signs off on what actually ships.
What a person approves does not just leave as a file. It is written back into your workspace’s translation memory, so the next time the same content comes through it is already answered — an exact match returns verbatim, with no model call behind it at all. The longer you use TrueIdiom on content that repeats, the less of it there is left to translate.
What we believe
Quality has to be measured, not assumed
“The model is good now” is not a quality process. Every translation carries its own evidence — a score, the issues found, whether terminology held — and that evidence is what decides whether a human is needed. You can read it after the fact on any job, because the point of a quality gate is being able to show your work.
You pay for what you submit, not for how hard we worked
Billing is per source character. The drafting, the refinement, the assessment, the verification pass — all of that is our cost to manage, not a line on your bill. Your data stays yours
Everything is scoped to your workspace, and nothing is visible to other workspaces. Any workspace can go further and bind its own Azure storage account, where the deployment enables it, so golden files and documents live in infrastructure you own and can revoke — see bring your own storage.
